On this episode of the Rich & Turbo's Heavy Half Hour (S2E29), we could not be more excited to talk to rock and roll legend Jake Cavaliere of The Lords of Altamont and of his new project, Black Honey Cult, which Rich has not stopped listening to since it came out on May 2nd, 2025, via Heavy Psych Sounds. Jake was super cool to take all the time he did with us to talk about the new self-titled debut from Black Honey Cult, the band’s origin, where the name came from, and the plans for the band going forward, while Rich tried to guess what Velvet Underground song most influenced each track (Rich is a VU nerd, in case you didn’t know). Jake told some great stories about his time as the “stylist” for The Cramps, life on the road, and even breaks some news about The Lords of Altamont and what is next for his main project. Rich and Turbo also discuss their top albums for May, and Turbo gives us his Future Classic Song. Jake was one of my favorite guests so far, so please check it out!!!

(S2E25) - Tony Reed
On this episode of the Rich & Turbo's Heavy Half Hour (S2E25), we are lucky enough to once again have the legend Tony Reed join the show! We always wanted to do a Sabbath record for our classic album of an episode, but we wanted to make it special, so we brought in an expert to talk about the band that started it all. Tony goes way deep into the Sabbath catalog and gives us a peak into his legendary bootleg collection as well. Tony also gives us a glimpse into what it has been like to be in Pentagram, which is a fascinating part of our chat. We also get into his new record with Hot Spring Water that just dropped (and that is amazing) as well as Tony breaking news on what's next for Mos Generator. Tony is the absolute best and knows so much about the music we love. I wish we could have him on every week. Please check it out!!!

(S2E24) - Tumble and Deserts Of Mars
On this special two for one episode of the Rich & Turbo's Heavy Half Hour (S2E24), we have two stand-alone interviews for your listening enjoyment. First, Liam Deak from the super cool band out of Toronto, Canada, Tumble, joins us to talk about their killer EP, Lost In Light, that drops on May 2nd via Echodelick Records in the States and Stickman Records for the rest of the world. Liam talks about the recording of the EP, the band's upcoming tour (catch them with R&T HHH favorite Witchrot!), working with Ian Blurton, and more. Interview number two is with main man from the Texas band Deserts Of Mars, Tony Salvaggio! Tony and I discuss the killer Mars Metal record from last year, Dead Planet Exodus, and spend most of the interview geeking out over obscure 90s bands and Industrial music. Both discussions were a lot of fun and I hope you enjoy listening.
