(S2E43) – Scott “Wino” Weinrich
On this episode of Rich & Turbo's Heavy Half Hour (S2E43), we are beyond honored to have the legend Scott “Wino” Weinrich on the show.  I really don’t need to say much more than that, but what is even cooler than him just coming on the show at all is that he gave us a full hour of his time, and told such amazing stories, like ones about Lemmy, Henry Rollins, Pantera at Ozzfest, Dave Grohl, Dick Wagner, and so much more. The main focus of the interview is his new solo record, Create or Die, which will be released by Ripple Music on October 24th, 2025 and is simply amazing.  I love all of our guests, but this interview is next level stuff for us. Please check it out!!!

The guys were great and the new record is awesome, so please check it out!!!

On this episode of Rich & Turbo's Heavy Half Hour (S2E38), we have Turner from the excellent band out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Woodhawk! Turner was gracious enough to give us a bunch of time to discuss the awesome new Woodhawk record, Love Finds A Way, that dropped a few weeks ago, and that continues to be an AOTY candidate. We talk about the origins of the record, the recording process, the Woodhawk tour, Turner’s influences (hardcore discussion, with mentions of Every Time I Die and Better Lovers, a R&THHH first!!!), what song is most requested during their live sets, and so much more.  We even have an album of the week classic record of the episode (I will disappoint people here), and Turbo’s Future Classic Song segment. (S2E37) – Hibernaut
On this episode of Rich & Turbo's Heavy Half Hour (S2E37), we are living up to our name, bringing the heavy with Salt Lake City, Utah band Hibernaut! We had Dave, Josh, and Matt from the band to talk about their new caveman heavy record, Obsidian Eye, that drops on July 11th via Olde Magick Records (Kozmik Artifactz outside of US) and be prepared to be crushed by it. Hibernaut is not just about the heavy, the band wrote an amazing concept record that sneaks in some melody to keep this record at the front of your rotation. We cover a bunch of stuff with the guys, and definitely not anything Siegfried & Roy. Go by the record and please give the show a listen!

Not sure I need to say much more than that, as Mr. Conner is a legend and we are humbled by him coming on our show to talk about a whole bunch of stuff, including the repressing of the Trees’ first full length, Clairvoyance, on vinyl for the first time in forever (preorders start on July 1st), plus some amazing Screaming Trees stories including some great Mark Lanegan bits. Gary Lee was so great and this episode is a must listen for anyone who loves the Screaming Trees like I do, so please check it out!!!
