This time on Rich & Turbo's Heavy Half Hour, on combined episodes 22 and 23 we talk to Emily Burton (Guitar) from the legendary, and one of Rich's favorite bands of all time, Fireball Ministry, who, as part of the Ripple Music's Beneath The Desert Floor series, will release their classic 2005 album Their Rock Is Not Our Rock for the first time ever on vinyl on August 9th, 2024. We cover a whole ranges of topics, including the band's history, how they came to partner with Todd from Ripple Music, what's next for the band, Emily's other projects outside of FM, touring with Dio and Anthrax (one was positive one not so much) and so much more. This time on Rich & Turbo's Heavy Half Hour on combined episodes 20 and 21 we talk to Paul Aloisio (Guitar and Vocals) and Marc Morello (Bass) from the band Restless Spirit! We talk about all sorts of stuff, including their killer record from 2023, Afterimage, as well as a number of the other great releases in their catalog.  We touch upon the history of the band, their influences, the Long Island scene from one Long Islander to another (sorry Turbo), their interesting musical choices when in the van on tour, and a near death experience with a killer cow. We get details about the making of Rich's Album Of The Year so far, Dead By Dawn, KITSA's creative process, both during the creation of their first record and now as they start working on new material. We hear about what it is like working with the great Tony Reed and get insights into the unique influences each member brings to the table. We even get into the DLR vs. Sammy debate and also beards.
